Party Central

Last Sunday our youngest had her birthday party... Dad decided to rent a Jump Castle since it was her last "non teen" birthday.

Here are a few of the guests...
I have to say they were pretty well behaved...this was a good investment.

Sydney wanted Tyler to play air hockey with her

ever the gentleman he let her win.

I even had time to list my Stamp Collection on Ebay while they bounced.

I tried to take a picture, without flash, of the bodies lined up on the living room floor the next morning but it didn't turn out.

Sunday I left for my ride and Dad made the girls pancakes, they were gone by 1pm then started cleanup until Gabe & Jess arrived then the family party commenced. First a game of UNO then off for a few hours of bowling, followed by dinner at Outback.

I am almost finished with an adorable summer top for Sahara & her doll (the doll is more a dress) I hope to finish that this evening before grading papers.

I am still on a clean & purge binge right now, after being down with this upper respiratory virus most of the week. I decided it was not going to keep me from my appointed task. Tomorrow I hope to repaint the master bathroom after a short ride in the morning.

Happy Valentines Day

Displays of affection....

While walking this morning I spotted someone's display of affection....isn't this the sweetest thing I almost cried.
Tulips don't grow here so someone (husband or wife?) lined the driveway with yellow tulips

Then stashed another bouquet of pink ones in the newspaper

Here is another 'LOVE' for someone else

Can you tell the Daytona 500 is tomorrow?

May you have whatever your heart desires today!

What a difference a day makes or a week!

My last post it was sooo cold plants died. Today it was perfect and I was able to lay out on the lanai catching some rays.

I'm still waiting for someone to tell me how to get something out of your head!!!
The last week bf #1 kept me laughing. However Wednesday I had a few things on my mind that I really didn't want to think about, dh is in Chicago, BF #1 on holiday, so I really needed distracting.

Otis tried to help in the Morning we went for our jog/walk & I had the headphones in and the iPhone blasting tunes.
Later in the day two other bf's helped out by texting & calling trying to keep my mind off things.
Friends on facebook were great too they posted on my wall, emailed and in general did what they could.
Then I got a brief text from bf #1 before Lost which of course was more than enough to distract me for the evening.

Today was much better, got a call from BF#1 then I had appointments until 1 then BF#2 called on lunch.
Gavin was here until 6:30 and while we were walking the last bf called to check in.

Have been chatting with friends on facebook again tonight. Now mind you Facebook can be addicting so enter at your own risk.

My suggestion to get something out of your head...call, email, text, chat or spend time with good friends!!

THANK YOU Anna, Monica, Lisa, Lori, Janine, Ashley, Cheryl, Lori, Melissa, Donna, David, Tom, Davidand of course Tyler, Sahara & Gavin, your the best!

Sunshine & Icicles

Even with the sun up it is FREEZING here in Central Florida...Global warming my .... er eye

A smart alec friend hit me on facebook this morning to let me know it's going to be 70 in COLORADO!
It is still only 28 degrees here and we might warm up to 55, in the sun I'm sure!

Question of the day..
Have you ever gotten something stuck in your head & just can't stop thinking about it?
Like a song you heard, something someone said to you (Good or Bad), a friend or family member?
A dream, desire, design?
What do you do to stop the endless loop?

Okay we have sunshine here but no roses...lol In fact I have to cover the plants again tonight we are expected to be in the low 30's again, I think I will leave my iphone in the house this time.

Has everyone given up on their New Years Resolutions yet? I waited a couple weeks before making any this year so far that has worked for me & I have stuck to them...with a little help from my friends.
